The Role
Lead a kitchen that cares about doing things right.
We are looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager / Lead Cook to help lead our kitchen team and keep our back-of-house running strong. This position is ideal for someone who is not only a strong cook, but also capable of helping manage people, schedules, prep, service, and day-to-day kitchen operations. You take pride in your work, lead by example, communicate well, and understand the pace, standards, and responsibility of a busy pub kitchen.

Day to day
What you will do
- Lead and support the kitchen team during service
- Work all kitchen stations as needed
- Maintain food quality, consistency, cleanliness, and speed of service
- Manage prep lists and keep the kitchen stocked and ready
- Help train and hold team members accountable
- Create and manage the kitchen schedule
- Communicate with ownership and management about staffing, inventory, issues, and opportunities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional kitchen environment
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation standards
Experience required
2+ years of qualifying kitchen experience
Qualifying experience means prior work in a full-service restaurant, pub, bar & grill, diner, banquet kitchen, or similar food-service environment where you were responsible for cooking, prep, food quality, station management, and real kitchen-service pace.
Fast-food or quick-service experience alone does not qualify for this position.
